As an Operations Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery operations by optimizing route planning, managing dispatch activities, and coordinating closely with internal teams and delivery contractors. This role is critical in driving delivery efficiency, improving truck utilization, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics execution in a fast-paced distribution environment.
What You'll DoMonitor daily load dispatch to ensure accurate and timely assignment to DSD contractorsOptimize the use of route planning systems to improve delivery efficiency and truck utilizationContinuously refine routing, call sequences, and delivery scheduling for operational effectivenessFollow up on unsettled or incomplete deliveries and ensure timely resolutionWork closely with appointed delivery contractors to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operationsMonitor contractor performance and provide feedback, coaching, and guidance to drive improvementsSupport manpower planning and deployment of delivery resources where requiredCollaborate closely with Sales teams to align on delivery priorities and improve service levelsAct as the key point of contact to resolve delivery-related issues and feedback from internal and external stakeholdersProvide proactive recommendations to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfactionTrack, update, and manage delivery KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, utilization, service levels)Analyze operational data to identify gaps and recommend improvementsSupport reporting and dashboard updates for operational performanceEnsure adherence to company policies, processes, and safety standards in delivery operationsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch and delivery activities
What You BringMinimum 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or distributionExperience in FMCG, logistics, or customer service environment is an advantageProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholdersDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skillsProactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-oriented mindset with a focus on service delivery
