Operations Finance Manager (Clinton)

A global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an Operations Finance Manager to support a critical manufacturing site in Clinton, South Carolina. This is a high-impact, highly visible role for a finance leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys operating as a true business partner to plant leadership. You’ll own the operational side of the P&L and play a key role in driving plant performance, cost visibility, and cross-functional decision-making.

This is more than a traditional plant controller role. We’re looking for someone who can combine strong manufacturing finance fundamentals with broader business acumen - someone who can connect operations, supply chain, planning, and finance to improve performance and drive results.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the operational side of the P&L for a key manufacturing site
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Oversee inventory, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysis
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and planning teams to improve cost transparency and performance
• Build financial models around capacity, capital investments, and margin improvement
• Support monthly close, inventory valuation, and internal controls
• Identify operational bottlenecks and partner cross-functionally to solve them
• Translate financial data into actionable business insights for plant and leadership teams
• Support broader operational and strategic initiatives across the business

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, operations finance, or plant finance
• Strong background in cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Experience supporting plant operations in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering skills
• ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
• Power BI and/or OneStream experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA / CMA preferred; MBA a plus
