Strong React & TypeScript expertise with experience building data-driven UIs, preferably integrated with Palantir Foundry and ontology-based models.
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Palantir Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript to build scalable, data-driven applications. This role focuses on developing entity-centric UIs integrated with Palantir Foundry, enabling business users to make real-time, data-backed decisions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, workflow-driven applications in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Build data-driven UIs integrated with Palantir Foundry
- Design and implement entity-centric user interfaces using Foundry Ontology models
- Create reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components and design patterns
- Develop TypeScript-based logic layers and UI workflows
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
- Implement state management and event-driven UI architectures
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with data engineers and backend teams to ensure seamless data flow
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability
- 4-8 years of experience in frontend / software development
- Strong hands-on experience with React (Hooks, component architecture, state management)
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience building production-grade frontend applications
- Experience working with data-driven or workflow-based systems
- Solid understanding of:
- Event-driven architectures
- State-driven UI design
- Workflow-based applications
- Experience integrating with APIs and backend services
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry
- Experience with ontology-driven data models and entity-based UI design
- Familiarity with Foundry tools such as Workshop, Slate, or Quiver
- Experience in enterprise-scale or data-intensive environments
- Exposure to Spark / PySpark or data pipelines
