About the Role
ActivInsights is looking for a motivated and organised Part-Time Customer Support & Commercial Operations Assistant to support our US Customer Support and Commercial teams.
This is a junior role suited to someone early in their career who is eager to learn, dependable, and detail-oriented. You will support day-to-day customer interactions and assist with commercial and operational processes to ensure a smooth customer journey from enquiry through to delivery.
You will gain hands-on exposure to customer service, sales operations, order processing, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced business environment.

$16,000 - $20,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Customer Support
- Respond to first-line customer enquiries via email
- Provide customers with order updates and basic product information
- Support in preparing and sending customer quotes
- Escalate more complex issues to senior team members when needed
- Help maintain accurate and professional communication with customers
Commercial & Sales Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating the sales pipeline
- Support the Commercial team with administrative tasks and follow-ups
- Help prepare customer documentation, including supplier or vendor forms
- Ensure accurate record-keeping across commercial systems
Order & Operations Support
- Assist with processing customer orders from invoicing through to delivery tracking
- Liaise with finance and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Help resolve basic order or delivery queries
CRM & Data Management
- Update and maintain customer records in the CRM system
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Support reporting and basic data entry tasks as required
Qualifications:
Experience & Skills
- 0 to 2 years of experience in customer service, administration, retail, or similar
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn CRM systems and internal processes
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
