About the company: Leading IT service organization We are looking for a Patent Portfolio & IP Strategy Lead to manage the organization's patent lifecycle, drive filing strategies, and strengthen IP culture. This role requires a balance of technical understanding, legal knowledge, and business judgment to effectively manage a global patent portfolio. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end patent lifecycle (idea to grant and maintenance) with strong understanding of patent processesMaintain and track global patent portfolio data (active, granted, abandoned) with attention to detailDevelop and execute patent filing strategies, including geo decisions, using business and legal judgmentEnsure compliance with statutory deadlines and proactively manage timelines with high ownershipOversee patent budgets, cost optimization, and approval workflows with financial disciplineLead patentability analysis, assessing novelty and inventiveness with strong technical expertiseAct as the final authority on feasibility, scope, and next steps with sound decision-making abilityCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, demonstrating strong communication skillsManage IP vendors, tools, and analytics platforms with a focus on quality and efficiencyDrive IP awareness initiatives and executive reporting, showcasing leadership and stakeholder management
