Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for inpatient children in a 12‑hour shift hospitalist program (24 weeks per year).
- Manage patients with prematurity, respiratory distress, infectious diseases, congenital heart disease, and other anomalies.
- Perform procedures such as circumcisions, umbilical central lines, lumbar punctures, frenullectomies, intubations, and emergent needle decompression of pneumothorax.
- Educate advanced practice providers, medical students, and family medicine residents.
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
