Pediatrics Physician

ATC West Healthcare is seeking a full-time locum Pediatrician to provide clinic-based coverage in Williston, North Dakota due to an unexpected medical leave and a recent provider resignation. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule in a well-supported pediatric clinic attached to the hospital, with onboarding assistance and a gradual patient ramp-up process for incoming providers. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialing is completed, and the assignment may be split between two providers if necessary.

Dates / Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing completion
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 2 4 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Coverage Need: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Shifts Per Month: Full-time coverage; may be shared between two providers

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric clinic coverage
• Average patient volume: pediatric patients per day
• Perform general pediatric evaluations and treatment
• Circumcisions are preferred but not mandatory
• Work collaboratively with clinic support staff, including:
  • RN or LPN assigned to each provider
  • CNA support
• EMR System: Allscripts/AEHR
• New providers receive onboarding support from a Clinical Informaticist for EMR access and workflow training
• Patient schedule ramp-up provided during onboarding period
• Existing clinic structure when fully staffed includes:
  • Two Pediatricians
  • One APP

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active North Dakota medical license required
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • PALS or NRP
• Clean malpractice history required
• Availability confirmation required at time of name clear
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Ability to perform circumcisions is preferred
