PF Mines Operation- Senior Engineer

Job Title: PF Mines OperationLocation: Andhra Pradesh Cement Works (APCW), Tadipatri About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced mining professional to manage shift operations in a highly mechanised opencast limestone mine. The role requires strong technical depth, statutory compliance knowledge, people handling capability, and the ability to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations. Key Responsibilities• Plan and supervise day to day mining operations as per statutory norms• Deploy manpower & HEMM effectively to meet production and development targets• Ensure optimum utilization of Surface Miner, Dozer, Wheel Loader and other HEMM• Maintain haul roads, in pit floors, and working benches for smooth operations• Manage quality parameters in coordination with Geologist & QC teams• Feed limestone as per blend plan to meet plant requirements• Identify deviations in quality, quantity and take corrective actions• Conduct regular safety rounds and implement DGMS & internal safety standards• Ensure timely reporting of unsafe acts, near misses, SOs & compliance to safety trainings• Monitor and ensure 100% PCM implementation• Prepare & submit statutory returns - Monthly/Quarterly/Annual (including contractor returns)• Coordinate and ensure IME/PME compliance for all workmen• Prepare DPR, MIS, and raise M2/M4 notifications in SAP• Support WCM initiatives, Kaizens, TBTs and continuous improvement activities• Track fuel consumption, HEMM KPIs and drive cost efficiency initiatives• Ensure adherence to Mines Act, Rules, Regulations and company standardsRequired Qualifications• BE / Diploma in Mining Engineering• First / Second Class Mines Manager Certificate (Mandatory)Experience Required• 5-10 years of experience in shift operations in mechanised opencast limestone mines• Hands on experience with HEMM operations and manpower management• Good knowledge of Drilling, Blasting, Mine Survey basics, and mining statutory requirements• Working proficiency in SAP, MS Office, MIS reportingKey Skills & Competencies• Shift operations with HEMM• Limestone quality management• Strong safety orientation• Statutory compliance• Decision making under operational constraints• Team leadership and communication
