PHP Developer

Role Overview: Seeking a hands-on PHP Developer to act as a technical authority during application transition. The role involves application discovery, architecture analysis, vendor coordination and ensuring system stability, scalability and security. Key Responsibilities: Manage application discovery across backend (PHP) and frontend components Analyze architecture, APIs, data models and system design Validate vendor documentation and drive knowledge transfer Identify technical debt, risks and dependencies Recommend pre/post-transition improvements Act as technical escalation point and guide engineering teams Review code, integrations and architectural decisions Collaborate with cloud and security teams for deployment and compliance Improve system reliability, performance and maintainability Required Skills: 2.5+ years of experience with strong PHP backend development Experience with complex codebases, APIs and system architecture Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and database design Experience working with external vendors Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred: Experience in system transitions or migrations Exposure to AWS or cloud environments Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks Additional: Hybrid role based in Mumbai Flexible for extended hours during critical situations
