As the primary PT covering a 12-week maternity leave at the start of the new school year, you will collaborate with educators, other therapists, and families to promote students’ physical development, mobility, and access to an equitable learning experience.Key Qualifications:Valid Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist licensePrevious experience in a school or pediatric setting preferredFlexibility to support multiple school sites in an itinerant capacityStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to meet timely credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge acquisitionResponsibilities:Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and school programmingAssess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progressConsult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomesMaintain thorough documentation compliant with school and state requirementsTravel between assigned school sites as needed to ensure comprehensive serviceThis contract begins August 10, 2026, and ends October 30, 2026, with the possibility of an earlier summer start during the extended school year.
