Physician - Internal Medicine (Full-time or Part-time; M-F days).

This role is in the Division of General Internal Medicine and can accommodate a provider seeking a part-time or full-time M-F days position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic physical health, mental health, and substance use conditions.
• Promote preventative health care with screenings, immunizations, education, and appropriate health maintenance.
• Supervise approximately 3-6 residents in the clinic on a weekly basis.
• Regularly contribute to educational opportunities and didactics for medical students and residents.
• Serve on call via pager at night approximately 1-2 days per month.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (or eligibility for one).
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, or family medicine.
• If board eligible, must become board certified within 4 years of completing training.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, including advanced practice providers, physicians, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health clinicians, and community health workers.
