Plant Director

A rapidly growing industry leader is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to serve as the senior executive for our flagship manufacturing and distribution facility. This high-visibility role acts as the primary site lead, overseeing all aspects of production, logistics, and inventory management.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution, representing the organization to key stakeholders, including major customers, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performance culture rooted in continuous improvement, safety, and a "customer-first" mentality.
• Drive the facility to meet or exceed daily production targets and unit-cost goals while maintaining world-class safety standards.
• Provide executive oversight for warehouse operations, ensuring seamless shipping/receiving and rigorous inventory accuracy.
• Direct and mentor the Warehouse, Inventory, and Production management teams; implement performance benchmarks and professional development tracks.
• Assume full accountability for all facility assets, maintenance programs, and annual operating budgets ($P&L$).
• Guarantee strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including SQF guidelines and site GMPs, ensuring all documentation is audit-ready.
• Manage labor modeling, approve weekly staffing requirements, and oversee the procurement of essential operational supplies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operating budgets and achieving cost-efficiency targets.
• Exceptional ability to represent the company professionally to external partners and executive leadership.
• Deep understanding of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and Lean manufacturing principles.
