Plumbing Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer with experience in USA-based MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in plumbing system design, modeling, and calculations, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining effective coordination with internal teams and clients. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and prepare plumbing layout and engineering drawings.Perform plumbing calculations.Design and model plumbing systems such as: Sanitary waste and vent systems Stormwater drainage systems Domestic water distribution systems Gas SystemDevelop piping layouts and perform pressure drop and pump head calculations.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and clash-free models.Ensure all designs comply with applicable USA codes and standards.Maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and clients. RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a reputable university.Proven experience in plumbing design for USA-based projects.Strong knowledge of IPC (International Plumbing Code).Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.Good understanding of fire protection systems and related equipment.Experience in piping pressure drop and pump head calculations.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills (Optional)Experience working directly with US-based clients or consultants.Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and tools.Basic understanding of Autocad.
