Overview We are looking for a PMO Officer to join our team. The role is full time and permanent, working 36 hours per week. The position is based in the Engine House, Swindon, with a minimum of one day per week in the office.
Hybrid working is available. Opportunities to attend some of our great live music and history events are also offered. Responsibilities As a PMO Officer, you will work closely with project and programme managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time while following English Heritage’s governance framework.
You will help define project scopes, clearly articulate business benefits, and ensure that these are achievable and ultimately realised. On a day-to-day basis you will ensure that projects are effectively resourced and appropriately funded, monitor progress to flag risks and issues, and utilise the agreed project governance and standards to support successful delivery. Qualifications To be considered as a PMO Officer, you’ll need experience in supporting monthly reporting cycles, proven report‑writing skills, a track record in designing processes and templates to improve efficiencies across the team, and an understanding of formal project‑management methodologies such as PRINCE2. Interviews will be held the week commencing 25th May at the Engine House, Swindon.
