Power Trader, APAC
Our client is a well-capitalized trading firm looking to add an experienced Japan Power Trader to its growing team.
Power Trader responsibilities;
Develop and execute trading strategies across JEPX (spot, day-ahead, forward markets)Identify pricing inefficiencies across regions, products, and time horizonsManage risk and PnL, with a strong focus on disciplined executionLeverage fundamentals (supply/demand, weather, outages) alongside quantitative modelsCollaborate with analytics and fundamentals teams to enhance trading performance
Power Trader requirements;
Proven track record trading Japanese power marketsStrong understanding of JEPX structure, regulations, and market dynamicsExperience across spot and forward productsStrong analytical and quantitative skillsetEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of risk
