Job Summary
Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center seeks a Principal Systems Engineer for the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department. The role supports X-Band Radar technology, collaborating on requirements verification, systems engineering integration, and systems verification. Key tasks include scope planning, milestone creation, scheduling, scenario development, testing, analysis, software support, and customer presentations.
What You Will Do
- Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirements verification, scope planning, milestone creation, scheduling, managing competing priorities, and customer presentations.
- Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, software development, and customer interactions.
- Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
- Experience with DOORS and systems integration, test, and/or verification.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience compiling, summarizing, and presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and customers.
- Experience with risk and opportunity management, coaching teams in agile and DevSecOps processes, implementing agile methodologies, and executing the team’s backlog with performance analysis and issue investigation.
- Experience participating in daily stand‑up meetings, monthly sprint reviews, quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and improving process and workflow predictability.
- Skilled in removing impediments, estimating tasks, verifying backlog readiness, tracking and reporting agile metrics, and facilitating process and technology integration.
- Experience with analysis tools, root‑cause identification, corrective action implementation, systems integration, verification, and working with customers to plan and execute program test activities.

- Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500. (Estimates vary by experience, function, and location.)
