Location: South Bank, London Contract : Full-time, Permanent Salary: £55,000per annum Status : Live-out A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a talented and health-conscious Private Chef to join a warm, welcoming, and dynamic household in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering nutritious, beautifully presented meals tailored to the principals' individual dietary requirements and be a down-to-earth team player. The household follows a healthy, high-protein lifestyle, and the ideal Chef will enjoy working closely with nutritional guidance while bringing creativity, variety, and flair to every menu. This is a hands-on role offering significant autonomy and creative freedom - the principals are passionate about high-quality ingredients and place great importance on sourcing exceptional organic produce, wild-caught fish, and grass-fed meats. The Chef will take full ownership of menu planning, provisioning, and kitchen management, ensuring the highest standards are consistently maintained. Additionally, the Chef will be responsible for preparing a weekly business lunch for approximately 1214 guests once per week. These gatherings are informal yet polished, requiring healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing buffet-style dishes. The household is relaxed, respectful, and discreet, and the successful candidate will be someone who naturally understands how to work within a private home environment with professionalism and emotional intelligence.

The Chef will work closely alongside the housekeeper and become an integral part of the household team Predominantly a Monday-Friday position, there are two different shifts (7:30am-4:30pm and 10am-6:30pm), so the Chef usually does two later shifts and two earlier shifts per week. Flexibility to be available on some weekends will be required, depending on the principals schedules. A pet friendly candidate is required, and occasional travel with the family may also be required. xwzovoh DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Planning and preparing healthy, nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary and nutritional requirements Liaising with external nutrition professionals where required to ensure meals align with current nutritional goals Creating varied weekly menus, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and occasional desserts Preparing and presenting a weekly buffet-style lunch for approximately 1214 guests Managing all food shopping, provisioning, and ingredient sourcing Building relationships with premium suppliers, independent retailers, and specialist food producers Maintaining exceptional kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation at all times Managing stock rotation, fridge organisation, and food storage Working collaboratively alongside the housekeeper and wider household team Assisting with occasional entertaining and special events Batch preparing meals for the family dog and managing freezer stock accordingly Accompanying the family on occasional domestic travel when required ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience working as a Private Chef within a private household (at least one year) Strong knowledge of nutrition, healthy eating, and macro-based meal planning Excellent culinary skills with the ability to produce a wide variety of healthy and flavourful dishes Experience sourcing premium-quality ingredients and managing household provisioning Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Calm, discreet, and professional manner Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of the kitchen Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and occasional travel Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the wider team A genuine passion for food, health, and hospitality London-based Pet friendly Excellent checkable references If this sounds of interest, and you meet the essential criteria, please apply within, or get in touch to find out more.
