About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our purchasing function. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FMCG procurement, vendor management, and cost optimization, ensuring smooth and efficient supply of materials while maintaining quality and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement operations for raw materials, packaging, and other supplies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams (production, warehouse, planning)
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock shortages or delays
- Maintain quality standards and compliance with company policies
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor audits
- Track procurement KPIs and prepare reports for management
Key Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Hindi and English (Mandatory)
- Good understanding of procurement processes, supply chain, and inventory management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Tally or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience handling multiple vendors and large-scale procurement
