Director of Production
We are partnering with a fast-growing, international manufacturer and solution provider, operating at the centre of the global data centre and critical infrastructure market. This is a great opportunity to lead their primary manufacturing site and play a central role in scaling and optimising their operations.
The business operates out of Dublin and is expected to double in size year-on-year. This role will be instrumental in building out the operational capability required to support that expansion.
This is a build-and-scale leadership role, not a maintenance position. You will play a central role in ensuring production lines scale to meet the expectations of their customers, retaining consistent high quality and driving continuous improvement.
Role
As Director of Production, you will:
- Lead end-to-end production execution for this main site
- Be a strategic partner to the Chief Production Officer and challenge, refine, and future‑proof their operational strategy
- Build up and lead a high‑performing team
- Establish best‑in‑class assembly line configuration and flow
- Drive scaling of production while ensuring it is predictable and controlled at scale and without compromising quality or delivery
- Drive strong use of data, financial metrics and variance analysis to manage performance
- Embed and drive Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
Candidate profile
- Experienced in senior manufacturing/production leadership roles in assembly line environments
- Background in power systems, aerospace, automotive, defence or similar industrial engineering‑led manufacturing sectors
- Proven success scaling operations in high‑growth environments
- Experience managing teams in multi‑shift production settings
- A hands‑on, accountable leadership style
