Production Manager (Nashua)

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking Production Manager due to an upcoming retirement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help keep production on track by supporting manufacturing schedules and making sure customer orders ship on time.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple areas like wax, shell, casting, finishing, and shipping to keep everything flowing smoothly.
• Support efforts to hit cost targets and maintain a strong focus on safety.
• Keep department spending within budget and look for ways to operate more efficiently.
• Lead and support the production supervisory team, helping drive consistent, efficient output across a range of investment cast products.
• Track and manage key performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and support their growth and development.
• Make sure all operations follow safety standards, internal policies, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Plan ahead for staffing needs and recommend improvements to equipment, layouts, production methods, or material handling.
• Balance workloads across departments while keeping inventory levels lean.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s degree in a technical or business-related field, plus 5–7 years of manufacturing experience (a bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Hands-on experience in the investment casting industry.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
