Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Production SchedulingDevelop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly CNC production schedules.Balance machine loading, manpower allocation, and tooling availability.Adjust schedules dynamically based on urgent orders / material availabilityResource PlanningCoordinate with Foundry & Design team for raw materials.Ensure availability of fixtures, gauges, and CNC programs before job release.Plan preventive maintenance windows without disrupting delivery timelines.Effective utilisation of all machines to get maximum output / revenue.Shop-Floor ControlMonitor CNC machining progress and resolve bottlenecks.Track WIP (work-in-progress) and ensure adherence to cycle times.Data & ReportingAnalyse production data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.Prepare daily/weekly reports.Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with design, process engineering, and quality teams.Communicate delivery commitments to sales/customer service.Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.3-7 years' experience in CNC machining and production planning.Proficiency in MS Excel.Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate clearly with shop-floor operators and management.
