About Mercari India Established in Bangalore in 2022, Mercari India serves as a crucial technology hub for the Mercari Group. Leveraging the rich and diverse tech talent in India, we primarily collaborate closely with our development hub in Japan to drive engineering development for Mercari's applications. Having grown to an organization of approximately 80 members over about three years since its inception, Mercari India aims to evolve into an even stronger engineering organization that spearheads technological innovation for the entire group.

Work Responsibilities
As a PMO / Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving program-level execution tracking across the organization. This position focuses on scaling execution hygiene, improving visibility, and ensuring alignment across multiple teams and initiatives.You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, business, HR, corporate, and other teams, ensuring seamless coordination, structured tracking, and timely delivery against organizational priorities and OKRs.

Required ExperienceEmpathy for Mercari's mission and values3 to 7 years of relevant experience as a PMO or Program Manager in a technology product companyProven experience working with both engineering (tech) and non-tech teamsStrong experience in program tracking, execution management, and stakeholder coordinationSolid understanding of project/program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsExperience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or similarBusiness-level proficiency in English
Preferred ExperienceExperience in scaling program management practices in a growing organizationExposure to global or cross-cultural team environmentsExperience in OKR/KR tracking and execution frameworksFamiliarity with AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and execution trackingCertifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum, etc.)
