Program manager

Overview

: We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAFe Program Manager to lead the successful implementation of our large-scale agile initiatives using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at symplr. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAFe principles and practices, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of driving complex programs to successful outcomes. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership: Lead and guide the implementation of multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork among Agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other stakeholders involved in the program.

Communication: Facilitate effective communication and information sharing across teams, ensuring transparency and clarity in program goals, progress, and challenges.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage program-level risks, issues, and impediments, taking appropriate actions to mitigate their impact.

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in processes, practices, and workflows across the program.

Metrics and Reporting: Establish relevant metrics and reporting mechanisms to track program progress, measure success, and make informed decisions.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels, ensuring their engagement and support throughout the program lifecycle.

Adherence to SAFe: Ensure that SAFe principles, methodologies, and best practices are followed consistently across the program

Skills Required

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science.

A SAFe certification is preferred.

Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops board is preferred.

Experience: Total 10 years of experience, 5 years of experience in program management, with a significant portion focused on leading and implementing agile initiatives using the SAFe framework.

Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
