- Clerk Grade 7/8 role with a salary range of $113,574 - $125,720 per annum plus superannuation

About the Office of Responsible Gambling
The Office of Responsible Gambling leads programs and initiatives to prevent and reduce gambling harm in the NSW community and provides public policy advice to the NSW Government. Program areas include research, community education & awareness, intervention, support and treatment services and public policy development.
About The Role
The Program Officer supports the delivery of programs within the gambling treatment and support service system, contributing to initiatives that prevent and reduce gambling‑related harm across NSW.
Working as part of a small, collaborative team, the role supports the coordination and delivery of programs and projects by:
- Supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of programs and projects.
- Working with internal stakeholders and funded service providers to support contracted outcomes and day‑to‑day program delivery.
- Coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation and supporting program governance requirements.
- Tracking progress, risks and issues, and contributing to performance and compliance reporting.
- Analysing service and program information to support briefs, reports and continuous improvement activities.
- Assisting with stakeholder engagement and program‑related communications to support effective delivery.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting pre‑employment and ongoing probity screening to meet the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007.
- The person occupying the role may be designated as a key official under section 16 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007, and may be subject to restrictions, such as restrictions on attending certain premises.

About You
You have experience supporting the delivery of programs or projects in a community, human services or government‑funded environment and are confident working with a range of stakeholders.
You have:
- Experience coordinating programs or projects, including maintaining documentation and supporting governance and reporting requirements.
- An understanding of community services or not-for‑profit service delivery, including working with external providers.
- Strong communication skills, with experience preparing reports, briefings and program‑related communications.
- Good organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and information to support decision‑making.
You are proactive, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
