Project Coordinator The Project Coordinator supports site supervisors and crews with project‑related needs and assists project managers with administrative tasks for assigned projects.
This role is responsible for organizing and communicating project details and assignments to team members to ensure productive and timely completion. The Project Coordinator also conducts daily site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects run smoothly. Reporting to: Site Manager Key Responsibilities Check‑in daily with site supervisors of assigned project, including site visits.
Review and analyze contract documents, customer specifications, and blueprints making recommendations to ensure efficiency for onsite installation. Ability to plan projects by job task in a sequential order, identify project constraints and provide solutions to increase site efficiency. Attend meetings and provide updates to the customer.
Ensure site readiness. Responsible for excellent communication between site‑install crew to project team. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in structural steel erection and the installation of miscellaneous steel.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset. Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with project scheduling software is considered an asset.
Working knowledge of welding processes and basic welding theory. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Experience with project scheduling and coordination.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong organizational and time‑management skills. Highly adaptable with strong problem‑solving abilities.
