Job Title: Project Head - Corporate Headquarters Construction
Location: Chennai Project Size: 5,00,000 sq. ft. Timeline: 36 months Role Purpose:
Lead the end-to-end development of Muthoot FinCorp's new Corporate Headquarters in Chennai. The role carries full accountability for delivering a landmark, ultra-modern, sustainable, and talent centric corporate campus within defined timelines, cost, and quality standards. The role also requires building a high-performance project team from inception. Key Responsibilities:
1.End to End Project OwnershipLead the project from design finalization through construction, commissioning, and handoverDeliver the project within the 36 month timeline with strict milestone disciplineEstablish governance, reporting, and review mechanisms for leadership oversight
2.Build and Lead the Project TeamSet up the entire project organization from scratchHire and lead core functions including project management, engineering, contracts, procurement, and site executionBuild a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution excellence
3.Planning and Execution ExcellenceDevelop detailed project plans covering timelines, resources, procurement, and risk mitigationEnsure seamless coordination between architecture, structure, MEP, and technology integrationMonitor execution rigorously through site reviews and performance dashboards
4.Stakeholder and Partner ManagementManage architects, consultants, contractors, and vendorsAct as the single point of accountability for all stakeholdersEnsure timely decisions and resolution of execution challenges
5.Cost and Commercial ManagementOwn project budgeting, cost control, and cash flow managementDrive value engineering without compromising long term quality Lead contracting strategy, negotiations, and procurement
6.Sustainability and Green BuildingDeliver a benchmark green building aligned with global standards such as LEED or IGBCTake full ownership for achieving LEED certification, including documentation, coordination with certification bodies, and ensuring compliance across design and execution stagesIntegrate energy efficiency, renewable energy, water management, and sustainable materialsPosition the headquarters as a model for responsible infrastructure
7.Quality and Safety LeadershipEstablish strong quality assurance and control frameworksEnsure adherence to all safety standards and drive a zero-incident culture
8.Regulatory and ComplianceSecure all statutory approvals and ensure compliance with regulationsLiaise with authorities for inspections, permits, and certifications
9.Technology and Future ReadinessIntegrate smart building systems, automation, and digital infrastructureEnable scalability, hybrid work environments, and future business needs

Experience
15 to 25 years in large scale commercial or corporate infrastructure projectsProven experience in delivering projects of similar size and complexityStrong experience in green building projects and LEED certification processes preferred
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringPostgraduate qualification in Project Management or Construction Management preferred SkillsStrong leadership and team building capabilityDeep expertise in project execution, contracts, and cost managementFamiliarity with LEED certification requirements and sustainability frameworksAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and large teamsStrong problem solving and decision-making abilityHigh integrity and ownership mindset
