Job Description
Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager (Integrated Technology) will work closely with leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and subcontractor trades to manage multiple technology integration installation projects, resolving unforeseen events or problems during the project life cycle. This role will assist in the development and facilitation of workflows and processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget through ongoing analysis and refinement of project management methodologies, team structures, and personal capabilities. It will maintain efficiency of the project lifecycle post‑sales and hand off to the Service Department.
Responsibilities Develop project plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery. Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed, and meet objectives. Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact delivery.
Create and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Monitor expenses, resource allocation, procurement, and provide forecasts. Define and implement project management processes and methodologies.
Streamline workflows and procedures to optimize execution. Continuously improve processes based on industry standards. Establish quality standards; conduct reviews and audits for improvement.
Implement corrective actions to enhance quality. Develop comprehensive plans, including resource allocation and logistics. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth operations.
Manage procurement and vendor relationships. Optimize schedules to meet deadlines; prioritize critical path items. Maintain detailed project schedules using management software.
Coordinate resource allocation and task assignments. Track progress against schedules. Foster communication with teams and stakeholders; provide status updates.
Address project issues promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3+ years in a construction environment (new build or retrofit). 3+ years in financial management, cost control, estimation, resource allocation, and procedure optimization.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites. Required L2 Police background check. PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or similar; equivalent experience preferred. Technical knowledge of automation technologies (smart home devices, audio/video systems, lighting control, security systems). Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Strong working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
