Key Responsibilities:Estimating
- Perform commercial construction takeoffs and prepare competitive bids.
- Utilize Excel heavily along with estimating software.
- Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Manage fast‑paced bid days with multiple inputs and tight deadlines.
- Manage projects you estimate from award through close‑out.
- Coordinate and oversee approximately 10–15 subcontractors per project.
- Lead jobs involving 20–30 field personnel at a time.
- Transition projects to superintendents and provide ongoing support throughout execution.
- Assist with purchase orders, materials planning, and inventory coordination.
- Act as a hands‑on leader across multiple active projects.
- Support superintendents with planning, materials, and execution support.
- Maintain accountability for schedules, quality, and job profitability.
- Commercial construction experience in the field, estimating, or project management.
- 2–3 years of experience for a trainable candidate or 7+ years for a more experienced professional.
- Strong understanding of takeoffs, bidding processes, and job costing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work hard in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
