Job Title: Project Manager (Oil & Gas Compressors - Quality Engineering)
Pay Rate: $79.43/Hr
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Houston, TX
Shift - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
This position is for the Power/Energy division.
- The Project Manager (Oil & Gas Compressors - Quality Engineering) is responsible for supporting and providing competent advice to the Project Manager on all Quality aspects throughout the lifetime of projects within the Compression Business, which encompasses compressor plants and their components for all applications in the international oil & gas industry.
- The QMiP serves as a single point of contact within the project team for customers and stakeholders, ensuring that the project quality meets the customer's expectations, as outlined in the specific Contract and all applicable rules and regulations for the Country of installation.
- This includes securing that requirements are entered into the design and build of the project; tests and inspections are done to prove the fulfillment and that the project adheres to the applicable processes.
- On the Project level, leading and coordinating a globally located team of supporting Quality functions will be an integral part of your daily responsibilities and routines.
- The QMiP also supports the bid preparation stage by reviewing customer quality-related specifications and providing comments and exceptions with budget estimations.
The specific responsibilities assigned to this position (but not limited to) also include:
- Support the PM in presenting deviations to the customer and obtaining approvals for NCRs
- Ensure proper documentation to prove the resolution of punch items
- Review quality items in supplier contracts, including supplier ITP
- Coordinate Quality Plans for Project (including project ITP)
- Monitor the fulfillment of the project requirements
- Participate in PACT workshops to raise & communicate quality risks
- Participate in Risk & Opportunity Assessments (ROA) and updates.
- Support the Customer through the creation of Site Quality Plans
- Attend inspections and tests as required or requested
- Support and monitor Quality Gates
- Support customer audits for the project and ensure that applicable processes are adhered to
- Release the final Quality Documentation package for the customer
- Support the Lessons Learned process (capture and implement)
