Job title: PSOC Operations Manager - APAC Reports to: PSOC Regional Manager - APAC Location: Singapore (on-site)
About our team We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Business Operations, Shared Services, Threat and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.
Within the Security Operations pillar, our Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC) team is a mission-critical group responsible for the physical security of data centers across the APAC region. This team operates round-the-clock, ensuring the safety and security of facilities through access control, alarm monitoring, incident response, surveillance, and communication with various stakeholders. The team works collaboratively to mitigate risks and manage incidents in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
About the role The PSOC Operations Manager (POM) is a leadership role extending beyond shift-level operations and execution and holds a senior position within the APAC Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC). The role reports directly to the PSOC Regional Manager. This role is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction to a team, managing large-scale personnel operations, and overseeing incident governance.
The POM ensures that operational standards are upheld consistently and that the quality-of-service delivery aligns with the expectations of the client.
In addition to these responsibilities, the POM is expected to work autonomously, demonstrating a high level of independence in daily operations. This includes maintaining operational continuity and being prepared to assume regional-level responsibilities as needed, ensuring seamless leadership and management within the PSOC.
What you’ll do In this role, you will actively manage a team of Watch Supervisors and Watch Officers within a rotating shift with the PSOC Regional Manager (PRM), to ensure round-the-clock security operations meet organizational and client standards. You will be responsible for developing and building a high-performing team of security personnel to ensure their adherence to professional standards and operational excellence.
You will also be accountable for overseeing the accuracy and completeness of reports and documentation, as well as ensuring that site health and key performance indicator (KPI) goals are consistently met or exceeded. Another critical aspect of the role involves reviewing logs and maintaining thorough documentation to support internal audits. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting onsite security technology and managing inventory needs.
You will act as a primary contact for PSOC triage and escalations. Regular coordination with global and regional PSOC teams is required to maintain adherence to protocols and to contribute to the strategic development of improved security protocols.
In any absence of the PSOC Regional Manager, you will be expected to carry out their responsibilities to maintain operational continuity. Other tasks may be assigned by the PSOC Regional Manager based on the evolving needs of the organization.
What you need to apply We are looking for a seasoned professional with 4+ years of experience in Operations and preferably, an associate’s degree at minimum. You should also have 2+ years of proven people management experience leading large teams. A background in security and/or datacenters or experience working in a client-facing environment would be a plus.
English language proficiency at a minimum of B1 level (as per CEFR standards) is essential, along with strong communication and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external). Candidates must have experience in situational or crisis reporting such as geopolitical or severe weather matters. Demonstrable experience in change management, particularly in the revision and implementation of standard operating procedures or other internal company processes is required.
The capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and efficiently is required. A proactive, solution-focused attitude is critical, with an emphasis on utilizing data to drive decisions and anticipate the needs of the team to maintain operational excellence. Additionally, candidates should have advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications such as Copilot, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
Experience in Project Management would be advantageous.
The PSOC Operations Manager role requires a current Senior Security Supervisor (SSS) ranking to comply with the Singapore Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) requirements. Candidates with senior military and/or policing backgrounds may be eligible for an exemption, dependent on the PLRD’s verification of the candidate’s prior experience.
What You’ll Get We offer more than just a job — we offer the chance to be part of a supportive, collaborative team where your growth and contributions truly matter. In this role, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while working on a prestigious multinational client account, giving you firsthand exposure to global operations and cross-regional collaboration.
We’re committed to employee development, with access to continuous learning, training programs, and career growth pathways designed to help you succeed and advance.
