About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices.

Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and groups.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.

Current PMHNP certification and valid New York State nursing license.

At least 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing or related field.

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
