Job Title: Psychiatrist

Summary:The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive mental health care services to students and staff, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and counselling support. The role focuses on promoting emotional well-being, managing psychological disorders, and contributing to a healthy campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for students and staffDiagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plansProvide counselling and psychotherapy sessions (short-term and long-term)Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as requiredHandle crisis situations such as anxiety attacks, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma casesCollaborate with psychologists, counsellors, faculty, and administration for holistic careMaintain confidential and accurate patient records in compliance with medical ethicsProvide guidance on stress management, academic pressure, and work-life balance

Education Qualifications & Requirements:MD / DNB in Psychiatry (mandatory)Valid medical license to practice psychiatry2-5+ years of clinical experience (experience in educational institutions preferred)Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methodologiesExperience in counselling young adults and professionals is an added advantage
