QA Engineer ETL Testing

About Position:

We are seeking a QA Engineer with experience hands on experience in ETl Testing, etc.,

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and execute ETL test strategies to validate data pipelines built using PySpark and Azure cloud services.
• Perform end-to-end data validation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source systems, transformations, and target layers.
• Validate complex data transformations, aggregations, and business rules using SQL and PySpark-based analysis.
• Test data workflows orchestrated using Azure Data Factory, including batch and incremental data loads.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Product teams to identify issues early and ensure high-quality data delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, defect reports, and test execution documentation in an Agile environment.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing, with deep understanding of data validation techniques.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Python for validating large-scale datasets and distributed data processing.
• Advanced SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, window functions, and reconciliation queries.
• Solid experience testing data solutions on Azure Cloud, including ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts such as facts, dimensions, SCDs, and data modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data anomalies and root causes effectively.
