Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage qualitative projects from start to finish, including client, partner, and healthcare professional sample management. Managing quantitative project lifecycle may also be required.
- Facilitate screening, scheduling, and confirmation of respondents for TDIs, focus groups, in-person IDIs, online qual interviews, etc., ensuring all respondents are prepared according to client requirements. Quickly replace no‑shows, follow up with late respondents, send last‑minute materials when alerted by client/moderator.
- Set up and test surveys/screeners, monitor statistics, manage respondent honoraria, and close/audit/invoice projects in a technology‑based system.
- Coordinate and lead kickoff meetings for assigned studies to ensure all parties understand project specifications, client needs, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports on recruitment status to meet client needs.
- Proactively identify potential fielding concerns, partner with sales and operations staff to address issues and recommend improvements.
- Manage relationships with vendors, domestic and international, to facilitate accurate and timely deliverables, communications, and issue resolution.
- Manage study profitability by monitoring and accounting for all project costs affecting the budget.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to members of the Market Research Project Management team as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Training Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience: Must have 2-3 years’ experience in market research project management, preferably in healthcare.
Preferably: Experience working with qualitative methodology.
Knowledge, Skill, Ability
- The candidate must be a self‑motivated individual with exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- The candidate must have well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to quickly solve problems as they present and proactively identify and resolve potential issues to avoid escalation.
- The candidate must be able to work autonomously and in a team environment to meet study specific and departmental objectives.
- The candidate must manage multiple qualitative projects accurately and on‑time in a fast‑paced environment with moving deadlines. Experience in quantitative project management is preferred or may need to develop.
- The candidate must have very strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook, and Word, and be a quick learner of new technologies/software.
- The candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
