A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector with CMM experience as well as a thorough knowledge of all manual measuring equipment and their principles. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Use micrometers, calipers, height gages and other tools to mechanically inspect parts
- Utilize plate layout and inspection techniques
- Perform calibration of hand tools and capability and gage R&R studies
- Use knowledge of AS100 and ISO9001 and metal traceability requirements
- Stay current on latest initiatives, policies, and procedures while proposing ideas for improvement
- Follow all company safety and operations policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED; college degree a plus
- Must have 2 to 5 years minimum experience in Quality within a metal manufacturing environment
- Must have experience with plate layout and inspection techniques
- Must have knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures, AS9100, ISO9001, and AS9102 FAIR documents
- Must be familiar with metal traceability requirements
- Must be able to perform calibration of hand tools and capability and gage R&R studies
- Accurately use micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other inspection tools
- The ability to pay a high attention to detail and stay current on latest initiatives, policies, and procedures, while proposing ideas for improvement is required
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability and courage to implement change
- The ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and timely manner is needed
- Must be motivated, a team player, results-oriented, and looking for a career opportunity
- Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
