Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a Quality Control Inspector position for a manufacturing client in Tullahoma, TN. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on machine-side production
• Conduct inspections in assembly and packing areas
• Perform first piece inspections for all production processes
• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Measure products against specifications and identify defects
• Issue Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) for discrepant materials
• Maintain detailed inspection and quality reports
• Interface with management regarding production and quality issues
• Pull customer samples for Project Managers
• Maintain Hold Area and ensure proper material segregation
• Support Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements
• Perform housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment

Compensation (USD):

$16.00 – $19.00/hour
+$2.00 shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shifts

Schedule:

2nd Shift

Monday – Friday
3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Some overtime required

Must be flexible to cover 1st or 3rd shift as needed

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and test plans
• Experience with measuring tools and inspection processes
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
