What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using precision tools and metrology equipment.
- Verify parts against technical drawings and specifications for mechanical, optical, and cosmetic standards.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming products or defects.
- Support production teams by providing feedback that drives improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct first article and environmental testing as required.
- Keep inspection records and shipping documentation accurate and up to date.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and a safe, organized workspace.
- Collaborate across teams to uphold and continuously improve quality standards.
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
- Comfortable working with measurement tools (micrometers, interferometers, autocollimators, etc.).
- A methodical, organized approach to work and problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills—you can clearly explain findings and provide constructive feedback.
- Previous quality inspection or production experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.

Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently (and up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
- Work may require standing, sitting, and fine manual tasks.
- Low-lighting environments and occasional use of solvents and adhesives.
- Minimal noise levels, safe and clean workspace.
Schedule is 7AM-3:30PM and pay starts at $16/hr
