Quality Engineer

Role PurposeResponsible for implementation of Quality Management System and inspections at project level. Please note that this role is not based in India. Employment and work location will be in Singapore or Malaysia, subject to applicable employment eligibility requirements Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementation of Quality Management System at Project level Work closely with Project stakeholders and carry out inspections to ensure/improve Quality, Efficiency, and Consistency.Clear understanding L1 to L5 Commissioning test scripts and organize Quality inspection, deliverables, documents to ensure flawless execution of Commissioning test scriptsInspect Asset based L1 and L2 test scripts and organize inspections to meet the sameUnderstand Room Handover requirements and carry out inspections required for Room readiness for Energization and subsequent Room HandoversCarry out Mockup and FOK inspections and set standard for workmanshipEstablish corporate ISO quality programs in assisting with the development of corporate quality goals and objectives.

Responsible for coordinating with Construction, Vendors and sub-contractors in relation to Quality-related tasks.Acts on the ITP approved for the Project and follow up on the Inspection Requirements.Reviews of Construction inspection reports, Test Certificates and Dossiers. Monthly Reporting on Project Quality progress activities to Project Quality Manager.Reports Quality related Site observation report (SOR), Engineering observation report (EOR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to Project Quality Manager and assist with close out where appropriate.Proactively engages on field quality with the objective of doing it right the first time by reducing final punch list (quantities / severities). Assists to ensure all Quality related activities are carried out as scheduled.Updates and maintain project documentation tracking database/system. (Mock-up, M&E Clearance activities, etc.).To review subcontractor/vendor quality-related documents (Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, etc.).Conducts regular Quality meetings within Project organization and contractors, regularly raising awareness of Quality requirements on the Project.To take ownership of Quality Issues as and when it arises in the Project, investigate and present the Root-Cause Report for Resolution with the Project Team & Discipline HODs.Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of Exyte Corporate Management.Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system, recommend and implement improvements when required Job RequirementsGraduate Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical disciplineLead Quality Auditor certification preferred but not mandatory.

Minimum years of experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years working experience in Data Center Project Quality Management functionIn-depth knowledge on corporate Quality management system and ISO Strong knowledge about Level 1 to L5 Commissioning test scripts Hands-on experience working with software like Cx Alloy, Procore and ACC preferableBehavioral SkillsMastery in communication Set direction and develop execution plans Drives execution and performance Leadership to influence Handle change and ambiguity well Motivates your people Coach and develop people Technical SkillsUnderstanding of Engineering documents and drawings. Understanding of change control workflow and documentation control work flow. Good understanding of Quality Management System.
