Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner
Internal & Client-Embedded Opportunities Available
We're seeking an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner to support full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles and hiring environments. Thissearch supports multiple recruiting needs and may result in placement either within our internal recruiting team at Abel Personnel or in a client-embedded recruiter role, depending on experience, strengths, and business alignment.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys building strategy, managing relationships, and delivering results in both structured and fast-moving environments.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business needs, timelines, and compliance requirements
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support
- Source candidates using multiple channels, including niche and hard-to-fill markets
- Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and strong communication
- Track recruiting metrics, analyze outcomes, and provide clear reporting
- Manage multiple requisitions while balancing competing priorities
- Maintain accurate documentation within a customizable Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
- Proven experience developing and executing recruitment strategies
- Strong sourcing and screening expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze recruiting data and report on outcomes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience working within a customizable ATS
Preferred / Value-Add Experience
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and/or Certified Recruitment Specialist (CRS)
- Experience supporting state government or public-sector hiring, including procurement cycles and portals
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusive hiring practices
- Technical recruiting experience
- Offer negotiation experience
- Experience supporting training and development initiatives
- Exposure to HRIS tools beyond an ATS
