Regional Demand Planning Specialist

We are supporting our client from the FMCG industry in their search for a skilled professional to join their regional demand planning team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration skills, and experience in demand planning within complex, fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain demand plans in close partnership with commercial teams, ensuring alignment with sales expectations and inventory targets.Translate forecasts into actionable plans, factoring in varied production and shipping lead times across global sites.Work hand-in-hand with supply planning colleagues to manage forecast adjustments and assess downstream impacts.Track and improve forecast accuracy across assigned markets.Partner with Sales to reinforce disciplined forecasting practices and adherence to planning guidelines.Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning efficiency and overall supply chain agility.Support S&OP cycles (weekly, monthly, annual) to ensure demand signals are integrated into supply, shipment, and allocation decisions.Collaborate with external stakeholders such as distributors, logistics providers, and repacking partners to ensure smooth market replenishment.Monitor inbound shipments and warehouse coverage against agreed targets.Evaluate planning tools and systems, recommending improvements to enhance reporting, visibility, and data quality.Job Requirements

Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.Background in FMCG or industries with extended production/shipping lead times is highly valued.Strong grasp of forecasting methodologies and logistics concepts.Skilled at working across functions, markets, and time zones with multiple priorities.Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with SAP/S4 and Power BI is advantageous.Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Genevieve Teo
