Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Position Summary Lean Synergy Solutions is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support medical operations in the Marshall Islands. This role provides anesthesia care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings in support of a Military Treatment Facility or equivalent healthcare environment. The CRNA will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, surgeons, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia services in a remote or austere operational environment.
Employment Type: Full-time overseas contract position.Key Responsibilities:Administer and monitor anesthesia for patients undergoing surgical, obstetric, or procedural interventions, including general anesthesia, neuraxial and regional anesthesia, and Monitored Anesthesia Care. Perform preoperative patient assessments and develop anesthesia care plans. Monitor patient vital signs, airway, and physiological status throughout anesthesia care.
Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and provide advanced life support interventions. Maintain accurate anesthesia records in compliance with regulatory, Military Treatment Facility, and contract requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and professional development programs.
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize perioperative care. Maintain readiness to provide anesthesia services in deployed, remote, or austere environments. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Completion of an approved Nurse Anesthesia program acceptable to HQ USAF/SG. Master's degree in Nursing Anesthesia from an accredited program is required. Must hold a current, active, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in at least one U.S. state, Washington D.C., U.S.
Commonwealth, or territory. Must hold current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Minimum of 36 months of post-training experience delivering and monitoring all types of anesthesia, including general, neuraxial, regional, and MAC.
Must meet continuing education requirements of 40 CEUs every two years as accepted by the AANA Council on Recertification. Must maintain current Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications. Strong anesthesia technique, pharmacology, patient monitoring, clinical judgment, emergency response, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills are required.
Must be able to function independently in austere, deployed, or resource-limited settings.Location & Clearance Requirements:Location is the Marshall Islands. No Clearance RequirementsThis position reports to the Medical Director or Site Manager.
