Registered Patent Agent

We're Hiring Registered Patent Agent (3-5 Years Experience)We are looking for a Registered Patent Agent to join our team and play a key role in strengthening our IP and innovation ecosystem. This role involves working closely with startups, researchers, and academic stakeholders to support end-to-end IP creation, protection, and commercialization. Key Responsibilities:Patent Drafting & FilingDraft high-quality patent specifications and claims across diverse technology domainsHandle end-to-end patent filing in India and support international filings (PCT)Work closely with inventors to convert ideas into strong, defensible patent applicationsPatent ProsecutionManage patent prosecution, including responding to FERs and examination reportsHandle claim amendments and represent/assist in hearings before the Patent OfficeEnsure timely compliance with statutory deadlines and proceduresTrademark SupportConduct trademark searches and support filing, examination responses, and prosecutionAssist in building brand protection strategies for startupsIP Strategy & AdvisoryIdentify patentable innovations through interaction with founders and researchersConduct prior art searches, patentability assessments, and basic FTO analysisSupport overall IP strategy (patents and trademarks) aligned with business and commercialization goalsStartup & Ecosystem SupportGuide startups on DPIIT recognition and IP-related government schemesSupport documentation for reimbursements, grants, and compliance requirementsWork with multiple stakeholders including startups, students, faculty, and research teamsPortfolio ManagementMaintain and track IP portfolios, including filings, grants, renewals, and timelinesEnsure proper documentation and monitoring of all IP-related activitiesTraining & AwarenessConduct IPR workshops, awareness sessions, and training programsPromote an IP-driven culture within the innovation ecosystemQualifications & Experience:Registered Patent Agent (India)3-5 years of hands-on experience in patent drafting, filing, and prosecutionTechnical qualification (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in Engineering/Science)Exposure to trademark filing and prosecutionStrong expertise in claim drafting and patent documentationGood understanding of Indian Patent Law and proceduresAbility to work across multiple technology domains and stakeholdersStrong communication, coordination, and analytical skillsWhy Join Us:This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation, startups, and academia, enabling the transformation of ideas into protected and scalable ventures.
