Summary
The Regulatory Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet global regulatory standards across all brands and markets. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining compliance processes, monitoring evolving regulatory requirements, and supporting product development through accurate labeling and documentation. This role will serve as the internal subject matter expert on product regulatory compliance, partnering cross‑functionally with innovation, marketing, operations, and sales teams to bring compliant products to market efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the company expert on global home fragrance, cleaning, and personal care product regulations, including, but not limited to: FHSA, CA CPRTK, Prop‑65, FDA Cosmetics, EPA, Global Chemical Inventories, IFRA, OSHA‑GHS, ECHA‑REACH‑CLP, HAZMAT, CPSC, NIST.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising the business on impact and required actions. Advise on reformulation needs based on regulatory requirements.
- Create, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all fragrances and finished goods.
- Ensure accurate and compliant product labeling and packaging guidance across all markets.
- Collaborate with ingredient vendors and internal teams to gather necessary regulatory data.
- Serve as point of contact for consumer incident related inquiries.
- Support customer and retailer compliance requests, including documentation and reporting.
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date compliance documentation and systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks for fragrance and consumer products.
- Familiarity with product formulation, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with SDS authoring and hazard communication standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
