What To Expect
The Remanufacturing Team Lead works closely with our Engineers and Technicians on the process of analyzing HV battery products. You as the Lead are responsible for determining the root failures of complex electromechanical assemblies, and repairing/remanufacturing those products to specification. The Reman Lead tests and analyzes the devices, and then follows provided instructions, schematic diagrams, and mechanical drawings to perform the repairs.
You will also work with Engineers and Technicians to identify new failure modes, implement corrective/preventive actions, help develop new repair instructions, and work to hand‑written and verbal instructions when necessary. Reman Tech Leads also use hand tools and computer‑based electrical test equipment and databases to analyze and repair product and subassemblies. Has substantial understanding of the job; applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks; works on moderately difficult assignments; uses judgment to resolve issues.
Maintains workstations, consistent with 5S practices. Leads continuous improvement activity and performs standardized work providing recommendations and solutions to Engineers.
What You’ll Do
- Can train and influence others to achieve desired output at station within Takt, troubleshoot and communicate issues immediately
- Strictly adheres to Manufacturing Instructions and makes recommendations on updating them with process owner approval and influences others to bring them up
- Ensures pre‑use checklist is reviewed and coaches others to do the same
- Able to perform autonomous maintenance and make suggestions to improve and sustain
- Trains and coaches others on 5S at their workstations and surrounding areas
- Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques as a highly skilled specialist
- Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues whilst coaching others
What You’ll Bring
- High level of technical expertise and mastery of skills required to perform job functions up to high standards
- Strong understanding of the product architecture, manufacturing processes, and technical risks involved and has the ability to train others as a workstation trainer
- Capable of interpreting test results and making informed decisions on follow‑up actions
- Has extensive knowledge of tooling, able to identify abnormalities and flag them to the appropriate team
- Able to troubleshoot and debug using manufacturing systems, also be able to train fellow employees on the systems
- Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in technical writing, able to create technically detailed Flux tickets
- Proficient in leading / coaching a group of people and able to correct others on safe behaviors/mindset
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship or valid work permit) is required
