About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead its community bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing all strategic, credit, financial, and operational activities, in line with the bank's mission to provide financial services to families, small businesses, and the agricultural community. This role requires a leader with a strong background in community bank management, including a minimum of 15 years' experience and at least five years in a senior leadership position.
The President and CEO will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration, and to possess the strategic leadership skills necessary to anticipate future trends, communicate a compelling vision, and lead the bank in achieving its goals. Key responsibilities for the President and CEO include interacting with the Board of Directors to formulate and monitor the bank's strategic results, leading the bank's strategy-setting activities, and representing the bank both internally and externally. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with major clients, regulators, and the senior executive team.
The ideal candidate will be adept at promoting collaborative working relationships, ensuring high standards of conduct and performance, and overseeing the development of a diverse, capable, and engaged workforce. Additionally, the President and CEO will be tasked with maintaining the bank's financial structure, assessing the impact of strategic transactions, and proactively managing and mitigating various risks to align with the bank's objectives.
