Mars Resort is a popular old time supper club established in 1923 on the shore of Lake Como in Lake Geneva. Our restaurant was featured on the Today Show in June 2022 as a premier go to spot in the Lake Geneva area. We are a full-service restaurant and bar with amazing lakeside views. Menu consists of a variety of supper club classics, such as prime rib, steaks, charred duck, ribs as well as a fish fry on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Role Description
The Restaurant General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient service as well as maintaining the highest standards of food quality, Main duties include hiring and training staff and maintaining a positive dining experience for guests. The General Manager will also be responsible for implementing policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and profitability.
Qualifications
-Proven ability to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional customer service
-Experience in hiring and training restaurant staff
-Excellent leadership and team management skills
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
-Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends and holidays
-Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or General Manager is preferred
-Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is a plus
