Job Summary
The Manager, Retail Ontario & Atlantic leads day‑to‑day sales execution across Ontario and the Atlantic provinces, reporting to the National Director, Retail. The role manages a team of approximately 10 Sales Representatives and ensures consistent delivery of national retail programs at the pharmacy level.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide clear day‑to‑day sales leadership for Ontario and Atlantic regions, ensuring strong execution of national retail priorities.
- Lead the commercial activities of the assigned territories and support achievement of regional sales targets.
- Develop territory‑level sales and activity plans aligned with national commercial objectives, including quarterly targets and execution priorities.
- Execute promotional and corporate initiatives to maximize corporate profits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail pharmacy partners to ensure exceptional service and consistent in‑store execution.
- Manage OPEX for the assigned regions to ensure responsible use of resources and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship for direct reports.
- Implement training and continuous learning initiatives to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, and customer relationship management capabilities within the team.
- Use data and analytics to monitor territory performance, identify gaps, and adjust execution plans as needed to drive results.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, including identifying market opportunities, analyzing competitor activity, and aligning sales initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and assess the sales team’s performance and make informed decisions to optimize sales strategies and impact.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities and threats, providing insights to adapt the sales approach accordingly.
- Participate in customer and association conferences of relevance to the region.
- Operate within budget responsibilities for the assigned region to maximize Canadian and organizational EBITDA.
- Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one‑on‑ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce a high‑performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
- Utilize open, honest, two‑way communication to build trust‑based relationships with employees, business partners, and direct leaders while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.

Job Requirements
- Education: University degree in Business or Science or equivalent business experience.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Willing to travel up to 25% of time, including overnight travel, and able to work on weekends; strong, clear and effective written and verbal communication; strong planning, organization and coaching skills; flexible, reliable, goal‑oriented and able to take initiative; able to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a hyper‑competitive marketplace; skilled negotiator and consensus builder; bilingual (French) an asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience. Leadership experience is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
The hiring range for this position is $95,594.40 to $133,832.16 CAD per year, subject to change based on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience.
