Sales Development Representative - No Sales Experience Needed!
Steer offers a suite of software tools for today's automotive repair shop, combining everything a shop needs into one user‑friendly platform. Built on a foundation that started as an online directory, Steer now provides a full CRM marketing suite with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, and more. In August 2024 we acquired AutoOps, a leader in modern, fully integrated scheduling software, further enhancing our suite for auto repair shops.
About The Role
We’re building a new team in a rapidly growing auto tech vertical—and we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us make it happen. In this role, you’ll uncover new business opportunities, run engaging product demos, and guide customers through a fast, consultative sales process.
Location
Onsite in Waltham, MA
Compensation
$90k OTE ($60k base + commission)

You Will
- Make high‑volume outbound cold calls and lead online product demos.
- Become an expert in our SaaS product and target market.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts in our CRM.
- Use a consultative approach to tailor solutions to prospect needs.
You Have
In addition to the qualities above, we expect you to:
Must Have
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Waltham, MA, five days a week.
Nice To Have
- SaaS sales experience.
- Automotive industry knowledge.
- CRM expertise for pipeline management.
- Experience with a fast sales cycle (1‑2 call close).
