What We Offer Competitive pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour Paid Time Off Store closed on Sundays Employee merchandise discounts Health and retirement benefits (vary by location) Role Summary The Sales Manager is the second in command at the store level, alongside the Credit Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager. You will assist in coordinating day-to-day store activities to ensure safe, professional, and profitable operations — with accountability for sales goals, quality standards, and company policy. Full training and cross-training across all aspects of the role will be provided.

Requirements/Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service Acquire and maintain customers; address customer concerns promptly Implement sales and marketing programs and follow monthly marketing plans Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets Operations & Compliance Prepare and review daily store reports and financial transaction records Manage inventory and cash assets Reconcile daily transactions and maintain detailed operating records Prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks Enforce company policy and maintain internal quality control standards Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Rent-to-Own, retail, or a customer service, account management, or sales environment Demonstrated selling skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and employees in person and by phone Proficient navigational skills; satisfactory driving record and must meet company insurability requirements Ability to learn and become proficient in POS systems Professional appearance and demeanor Must maintain regular and consistent attendance, including evenings and weekends as business needs dictate Must be 21 or older to operate a company vehicle (insurance requirement) Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is a plus Physical Requirements This is an active, physical role that includes: Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50–300 lbs) using a dolly Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing Navigating multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics Prolonged periods of driving and standing Working in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions Additional Information This is a fully in-person position at the specified store location. Remote work is not available. A thorough background check — including driving history — and a pre-employment drug screening are required.
