Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make a meaningful difference this summer as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students during Extended School Year (ESY) programming in the Lansdale/Doylestown area! This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with students with moderate to severe needs in a collaborative, supportive educational environment.
As part of the ESY team, you’ll use your expertise to help students develop vital communication skills throughout the summer months.What you bring:Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirementsCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous SLP school experience, with ability to work effectively with students with moderate to severe needs and behaviorsCommitment to fulfill the full ESY schedule as assigned (no mid-assignment breaks)Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 35 minutes of site assignmentProfessional references, updated resume with highlights, and proof of licensure required at applicationStrong organizational skills and adaptability to support varying classroom assignments based on student and site needsComfort serving a diverse student population within a structured environmentThis role is open to experienced SLPs only—SLP-CFs and SLPAs are not accepted for considerationKey responsibilities:Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services according to IEP goalsSupport teachers and related service staff in promoting positive student learning outcomesAttend paid orientation training, including Foundations orientation prior to student start dateDocument student progress and contribute to ongoing classroom planning for maximum student successCommunicate effectively with caregivers, educators, and the ESY teamPerks of this opportunity:Monday–Thursday schedule, leaving long weekends freeOpportunity to work close to home, with placement efforts made based on your location and skillsGain valuable summer experience in a high-impact educational settingEmpower your career while making a genuine impact this summer.
